Album review: Ocean Grove – ODDWORLD
Melbourne party-starters Ocean Grove get weird in both good ways and bad on album number four…
A Passage For Lost Years is the title track from Varaha's debut album, out April 26.
Today we are proud to exclusively premiere the spellbinding first single (and title track) from Chicago’s atmospheric metal band Varaha from their debut full-length album, A Passage For Lost Years. out on Prosthetic Records on April 26. The 12-minute-long track is as glittery and triumphant as it is heavy, taking the listener on a journey that spans from a slow, marching intro to soaring, progressive doom leads. Take a listen for yourself right here:
Guitarist Joel Hollis comments, "Varaha is made up of four creative people with different musical backgrounds, that share a desire to build a sound that will be a lasting document of our personal and collective experiences. We want people take our music and have it become their reality."
Vocalist/guitarist Fabio Brienza adds, “A Passage for Lost Years” is a guide for a journey of stories untold. It’s about closing the window curtains, taking a breath, and stepping away from chaos before immersing yourself within it; dipping your fingers within its blood, and yearning for dreams unspoken and places adrift in time.”
