Listen to Silent Child’s hopeful new single, Pressure

Silent Child has unveiled a brand-new single, Pressure.

The rock, alternative and electronic-inspired artist has followed up recent tracks Can’t Get Away and Ready with a new effort all about “going through life with a goal, super motivated and determined only to get hit with the enormous weight of what your goal carries”.

“Everyone around you gives you complete support and sees success, but all the stress, anxiety and doubt causes you to see an imposter,” Silent Child continues. “You’re so deep into the journey though that you feel like giving up wouldn’t just be a waste of time for you, but also a waste of time to the people who believed in you. You didn’t make it this far to hear premeditated ‘I told you so’s wrapped in bullshit sympathy like ‘at least you tried’ and ‘you did your best’. There’s too much pressure to know whether you’re gonna turn into a diamond or get crushed and you’re too deep to care.

“Crossing a bridge that takes everything, but promises everything and more on the other side. All you can do is hope that you make it.”
