Mad Cool reveal first names for 2025 including Weezer, Thirty Seconds To Mars and St. Vincent
Weezer and Thirty Seconds To Mars join the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Iggy Pop and Noah Kahan atop next year’s Mad Cool Festival bill.
The Massachusetts trio took on the New Yorkers’ hit Jesus Christ for Annie Mac’s BBC show, and have also revealed new track Anyone Else.
PVRIS rocked up to the BBC yesterday, ahead of their appearances at the Reading and Leeds festivals, to perform a stripped-back live session for the station’s DJ Annie Mac.
Listen to the session below, which features the band’s own songs Heaven and What’s Wrong – both of which are on PVRIS’s imminent All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell LP (out August 25, through Rise) – and a cover of Brand New’s Jesus Christ, from their 2006 album The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me.
Another new PVRIS track, Anyone Else, just came out – check that particular spooked slice of alt-pop-rock below, before its parent album drops at the end of the week.
