Taken from September’s SURVIVING THE DREAM record, FIDLAR have released a new single that comes to the conclusion that “love is better than drugs”…
FIDLAR have just shared an excellent new single, DOWN N OUT.
Contrary to its name there’s something of a positive message tucked away in there, with frontman Zac Carper explaining that, “This is a song about growing up, seeing yourself change, and not giving a fuck. I gave up drugs to fall in love and I’ve gotta say: love is better than drugs.”
DOWN N OUT is taken from FIDLAR’s new album SURVIVING THE DREAM, which is due out on September 20. “This record is about doubling down on what you love,” says Zac. “For us, it’s about playing shows and making music. Coming back after a few years away, our intention was to self-make an album that the three of us are stoked on. We’re very, very, very pumped on it and what’s to come. These songs are meant to be heard live with the fellow FIDIOTS going off.”
