Travis Barker reveals he’s recorded two albums in the past two months
blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been very busy in the studio since the band got back from tour…
blink-182 have released a brand-new single, Happy Days.
With blink-182's Enema Of The State 20th anniversary tour now in full swing, the pop-punk titans have found some time in between shows to drop a brand-new single, Happy Days.
A gorgeous three-minute piece of pop-rock perfection, the track follows previous singles Blame It On My Youth and the blistering 50-second Generational Divide, and will presumably feature on blink's as-yet-untitled new album, which is expected to arrive at some point over the summer.
Speaking of which, bassist Mark Hoppus recently revealed that the trio – completed by drummer Travis Barker and guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba – haven’t been able to stop writing new music, and therefore they keep adding songs to the follow-up to 2016’s California.
“We keep writing more and more songs and the songs keep getting better and better,” he told Alt 98.7. “Originally I thought we were going to have an album out in June, but we keep adding more songs, so probably later on in the summer."
Check out Happy Days below – released, of course, on blink-182 day (the 182nd day of the year, duh). Neat.
