Watch Harper cover Spiritbox’s recent single Soft Spine, in anticipation of the band’s forthcoming second album Tsunami Sea.
It’s 2025, which means it’s the year of Tsunami Sea, and seemingly Harper is just excited as us.
To celebrate, the young star has unleashed a cover of Soft Spine – which will appear on Spiritbox’s new record – and it’s just as spot-on as ever. “Thought I’d do a cover of Soft Spine by @spiritboxband. Anyone else looking forward to the new album?” Harper posted on her socials. “Full video on my YouTube now.”
Of course, Harper has covered Spiritbox in the past, including on America’s Got Talent when she was just 10 years old, and she’s even performed live with the band.
“When I was with Courtney [LaPlante, singer], I swear she gave me her energy and all the people in the crowd, since they knew metal music, [I felt like] they would understand it,” Harper told us in 2022 of that experience. “When I got onstage, I was like, ‘I love this. I wanna go again!’ My heart was beating so much after that. It was so fun, but also scary.”
