Before they hit the road for a big winter tour, Blackout Problems and Lake Malice have teamed up for a new collab.

Entitled Quicker Than Death, the two bands’ new banger was mixed and mastered by Enter Shikari’s Rou Reynolds, and we’ll hopefully get to hear it live very soon…

“In preparation of our upcoming tour we thought it might be great to get to know each other up front and work on a song together,” explain Blackout Problems. “One that we can put into our sets and represent both bands on the RIOT Tour. It’s a great fit and we’re really looking forward to sharing the stage in 10 countries. The song has been mixed and mastered by one of our favourite artists Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari which is just another highlight.”

“It’s amazing to have the opportunity to work on a song together without even being in the same country and it was a great creative challenge,” add Lake Malice. “We didn’t even talk about what we wanted to make. We just started out and since both bands are artistically pretty different the mix led us to something new. It came about really naturally and we love the outcome a lot.”
