Kid Kapichi announce six UK headline dates

Hastings punks Kid Kapichi have announced details of six headline shows across the UK, taking place amidst their support run with You Me At Six in March and April 2025.

Kicking off at the Huddersfield Parish on March 22, the aptly-titled Back To The Neighbourhood run of independent British venues culminates at Southend Chinnery on April 3.

Alongside the tour announcement, the band have released new single Newsnight, taken from the deluxe edition of latest album There Goes The Neighbourhood.

Speaking about the track, the band say, “In a world where alternative facts rule and the post-truth era is in full effect – who can we trust? The all-seeing eye of first-person phone footage provides the world with an unfiltered account of events as they unfold; and when that doesn’t match up with the broadsheet headline or the scripted dialogue of your local news anchor, we must ask what the agenda truly is.

“Newsnight questions whether the media want us well informed or scared & divided; duped into squabbling over toilet roll while atrocities are committed overseas and on home turf, only to be intentionally distorted and misreported by the big brother of mainstream media. We say stay vigilant and always question the narrative. Not in a tin foil hat way though; the earth is round.”
