Director Colin Trevorrow – who also worked on the excellent first Jurassic World film – said of the delay: "For the past three months, I’ve worked with an extraordinary cast and crew on a film we can’t wait to share with the world. Even though we'll have to wait a bit longer, it will all be worth it. Let’s stay healthy and take care of each other until then."
Chris Pratt, who plays Owen Grady in the franchise, focussed instead on what a momentous occasion Dominion's release will eventually be, writing on social media: "Thirty years of Jurassic legacy culminate in one epic final film. Like the fabled monsters of 65 million years ago, this film too shall rule the earth."

Both also shared the brilliant new poster for the movie, which of course references the plot of the first-ever Jurassic Park film and its story of how dinosaur DNA was found in yellow amber.
