Pulp Fiction and Grease icon John Travolta hooked up with Dave Grohl and co. at the Nirvana reunion show last week
Last weekend, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic reunited onstage in Los Angeles for a special Nirvana reformation set. Joined by Pat Smear, Beck, St. Vincent, and Dave's daughter Violet, the group blasted out a five-song celebration of Nirvana for The Art Of Elysium charity fundraiser in Los Angeles.
As you might expect from a big gig in LA, Hollywood's brightest stars weren't far away, and one rock fan who popped in to join the action was none other than John Travolta. The actor shared an image on Instagram of himself hanging out backstage at the event, flanked by Dave, Krist and Pat.

The post reads: "Special moment backstage with Dave Grohl & friends for The Art Of Elysium fundraiser 'Heaven Is Rock & Roll' after kicking off award season 2020 with a For Your Consideration screening of The Fanatic at the Aero."
The Fanatic is Travolta's latest movie, a psychological thriller directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst. The film tells the story of obsessive movie fan Moose (played by John), who misses out on the chance of meeting his hero, and... it all gets a bit creepy and bloody from there.
“Moose was one of my best experiences. Fred Durst is stunningly gifted as a director and as a human being he was capable of communicating differently from anyone else," John told previously told the BBC.
“I loved Moose; it’s phenomenal. Moose is an eccentric special needs character who’s obsessed with a movie star. I can’t describe how special this character is; he’s one of my favourite characters I’ve ever played. I loved working with Fred.”
The movie had a limited release last summer.
