Joey Jordison’s New Band Sinsaenum Announce Debut Album

Joey Jordison has confirmed the details of his latest project’s debut album

Just when you were getting over the news that Joey Jordison is back with his awesome new band Vimic – there’s even more music coming from him! Yes, Joey has started a new band called Sinsaenum with Frédéric Leclercq, who you’ll all know as the bassist of DragonForce!

Speaking about how the project came to life, Frédéric explains that he had already been writing some death metal material for a long, long time when an offer from a certain legendary drummer came in: “Joey Jordison sent me an SMS to ask what I was up to, so I told him about those death metal songs.” With the addition of two vocalists, Attila Csihar (Mayhem/SUNNO)))) and Sean Zatorsky (Dååth and Chimaira), guitarist Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast) and Heimoth (Seth) on bass –Sinsaenum was born! FYI, the name was Joey’s idea: a combination of the words “sin” and “insane”.

The band’s debut album Echoes Of The Tortured will be released on July 29 and will be comprised of 21 tracks.
