Album review: Ocean Grove – ODDWORLD
Melbourne party-starters Ocean Grove get weird in both good ways and bad on album number four…
Jay Weinberg is bleeding for his art in the studio with Slipknot
Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg has shared an image on Twitter of his snare drum covered in blood.
Posting the studio shot on his personal Twitter account, the Slipknot sticksman said "In case you’re wondering what kind of album we’re making," accompanied by a shot of a blood-splattered snare drum and splintered drumstick.
Last week, frontman Corey Taylor posted on Instagram that he had returned to the studio for Slipknot's upcoming sixth album, and now it looks like Jay has joined the recording process.
The Slipknot camp are remaining tight-lipped about what's actually happening in the studio, but if surprise Halloween single All Out Life is anything to go by, then we can assume it's going to be brimming with aggression and caustic venom.
Recently, Clown told Kerrang! that he's having the time of his life in Slipknot right now, and Corey recently revealed the personal influence on the upcoming album's lyrics. If the lyrics are dark, Clown is happy and members are bleeding, we can assume Slipknot's sixth album is going to be downright evil. Count us in.
