Who goes to Slam Dunk Festival? We'll show you!
This weekend, the UK's punk contingent staged two mass gatherings in Leeds and Hatfield for this year's Slam Dunk Festival. Nine stages of the hottest bands on the planet, all joining together in the name of punk-rock, from the anthemic pop-punk of All Time Low to the visceral hardcore of Knocked Loose, this year's Slam Dunk had something for everyone.
And that's what we saw, everyone. We had mohican-sporting crusties over on the Punk In Drublic stage pogoing to NOFX and Bad Religion while those whose wardrobe only consists of black t-shirts were snapping their bones to Employed To Serve. Different walks of life, but all coming together in the name of alternative music.
We headed to Slam Dunk South in Hatfield to see just who rages in the May-time showers. These are the faces of Slam Dunk 2019.
