Last night in Finland, Slipknot made their return to the stage after an almost three-year absence. Their last headline show took place in November 2016 at Knotfest Japan, and now, with new album We Are Not Your Kind less than two months away, Slipknot are back in Europe and ready for war.
Closing the first night of Rockfest at Hyvinkään lentokenttä in Hyvinkää, Finland, Slipknot unleashed a stonking 18-track set, including new tracks Unsainted and All Out Life. Picking tracks from every album, it definitely focused on the heavier side of Slipknot, with the masked Iowans blasting out everything from Get This and Prosthetics to Custer and The Negative One.
Interestingly, there's no Wait And Bleed, Eyeless or My Plague, instead opting for the likes of (sic), Disasterpiece and People=Shit. If this is the same setlist Slipknot are firing out across their European run, Download festival next weekend is going to be a warzone.
