Tonight (December 14) in Leeds, Slipknot kicked off their first UK tour in four years at the First Direct Arena in a deafening celebration of their seminal self-titled album. Dedicating the entire headline set to nothing written after the year 1999, the Knot played pretty much their entire debut in full, replete with haunting interludes and Sid Wilson remixing Tattered & Torn.
Booting things off in incendiary style with the vicious triumvirate of (sic), Eyeless and Wait And Bleed, Slipknot took Leeds back in time some 25 years with the brutalising Eeyore, Liberate, No Life and a caustic Get This. The album might be a quarter of a century old, but it still goes harder than everything else.
If you're going to Slipknot's Here Comes The Pain tour, here's what's in store.
