Here's A Look At John Travolta In Fred Durst's New Movie

About a year ago, we learned that Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst would be directing a new film called Moose starring none other than Grease and Face/Off star John Travolta. Now, the horror freaks at Bloody Disgusting have dug up a shot of Travolta in the film...and man, is he creepy.

The move, which is now being called The Fanatic, stars John as Moose, a stalker following his favorite action film star Hunter Dunbar (portrayed by Devon Sawa, known for his roles in Idle Hands, SLC Punk, and the Final Destination films). As Moose becomes more and more obsessed with Sawa, he begins seeking ways to destroy his life.

In an Instagram post that has since been taken down, Durst explained the film's plot, and wrote, "Follow @moosemovie for updates and behind the scenes from my new film Moose starting John Travolta, Devon Sawa, and Ana Golja...Not sure who got the story mixed up in the press...It’s been 10 years in the making and now it’s finally coming to life. Me and my partner David Bekerman wrote it. I’m directing. Cannot wait for you to see it. I’ll @moosemovie updated to keep you in the loop."

Yikes, that's unsettling. Perhaps even more shudder-worthy is that the story is inspired by a real-life stalker who followed Durst several years ago.

It's been an insane year for Durst, with Limp Bizkit playing a number of high-profile concerts, including their infamous $3 show in California which involved guest performances from Machine Gun Kelly and Marilyn Manson, as well as appearances by Billy Corgan and David Fincher. The show featured one of the most comprehensive original line-ups of Limp Bizkit to date, and included a tracklist of classics and rarities.

The Fanatic does not yet have a release date.
