Hear Joey Valence & Brae’s new single WHERE U FROM: “It’s the first JVB track that contains any singing”

While out on their current (mostly sold out) PUNK TACTICS tour in the States, Joey Valence & Brae have unveiled new music.

The punk-rap breakout duo are streaming new single WHERE U FROM, which they collectively describe as a “fun, energetic, catchy single from the next JVB album”.

The pair add: “It’s the first JVB track that contains any singing, and it’s a step in a direction we haven’t explored yet… reminiscent of some of our favourite artists like BROCKHAMPTON and Tyler, The Creator.

“While recording the singing part of the track, Joey recorded his vocal in a different key – four notes lower – and then pitched them up to match the song. The song pokes fun at people who think they are ‘all that’ and is pretty boastful about our swag levels.”
