HEALTH team up with CHVRCHES’ Lauren Mayberry for new collab

A couple of months on from their collab with Bad Omens, HEALTH are continuing to work with some of the coolest people in music: they’ve just released a new song with Lauren Mayberry.

Well, it’s not technically new-new, but the Los Angeles trio have reworked ASHAMED from last year’s excellent RAT WARS album, with the help of the CHVRCHES vocalist. And it’s given the track a whole new, more emotional feel…

Of course, here at K! we were huge fans of RAT WARS, putting the record in our 50 best albums of 2023 list. “HEALTH’s vision of the world presented here may feel cold, unforgiving and distinctly lonely,” we wrote, “yet piercing flashes of neon-coloured light render it one you’ll want to return to again and again.”
