Here’s what some of your favourite rock stars dressed as for Halloween 2024
From Stranger Things to Alien to IT, the rock and metal scene made sure to embrace this year’s spooky season…
Jesse Malin and Billie Joe Armstrong have collaborated on a new single.
Following a collaboration with Morrissey last month, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong has revealed he's soon to appear on another new single: Strangers & Thieves, with New York punk rock veteran Jesse Malin.
The track, which according to Jesse was written after the pair had walked around the Big Apple one Sunday afternoon together, will be released on June 14 via Wicked Cool Records.
Billie Joe and Jesse have worked together many times before – from Jesse opening for Green Day, to Billie joining him for secret cover sets in New York, to the pair's underground Rodeo Queens side-project back in 2010. So it goes without saying that this should be absolutely awesome.

Back in December, Billie Joe revealed that he was working on new songs for the follow-up to 2016's brilliant Revolution Radio. Green Day also recently unveiled details of their first-ever book, Last Of The American Girls, due out later this year. Exciting times all round, then.
