Green Day side-project The Coverups announce 2025 London show
Surprise! Billie Joe Armstrong will be back in London next month for another special show with his side-project The Coverups.
Listen to Trans Am, the new four-track EP by Green Da… sorry, The Network.
Earlier this month, mysterious new wave mob The Network made their long-awaited return, with the members of Green Day (who most definitely are not a part of this secret side group… ahem) shocked and surprised by their comeback – and still very much in denial that they have nothing to do with them. Nevertheless, Billie Joe Armstrong and co. have today (November 20) unveiled The Network's new Trans Am EP.
Frontman Billie Joe – aka The Network's Fink – took to Instagram to share the news that the four-track release was out now, changing his bio to state, "The Network is the greatest thing to happen to 2020 since 2003."

Of course, back in 2003, The Network dropped their ace debut album Money Money 2020, with its unexpected follow-up Money Money 2020 Part II: Told Ya So! due to arrive on December 4. For now, though, fans can enjoy the four songs that make up Trans Am: the opening title-track, Flat Earth, Fentanyl, and Ivankkka Is A Nazi.
"Back in 2003 we, The Network, warned mankind of the fate they would meet in the year 2020," state The Network. "To no surprise 2020 is upon us and it looks exactly as our prophecy predicted. As one final warning on December 4, 2020 we will release Money Money 2020 Pt II: We Told Ya So! We are at Threat Level Midnight.
"For now, hop in and set your transistors to the Trans Am EP, out everywhere now."
The Network have also dropped a new video for Trans Am – check it out below:
