Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has been nominated for the Worst Director award at this year's Golden Raspberries aka The Razzies.
The Razzies have been running for 40 years and celebrate cinema's under-achievements over the past 12 months.
Fred's nomination comes for his work directing The Fanatic starring John Travolta as a crazed superfan, stalking his Hollywood hero Hunter Dunbar with bloody results. The movie bombed at the box office, grossing just $3,153 from 52 cinemas across America on its opening weekend.
Speaking previously about his role as lead character Moose, John Travolta enthused: “Moose was one of my best experiences. Fred Durst is stunningly gifted as a director and as a human being he was capable of communicating differently from anyone else.
“I loved Moose; it’s phenomenal. Moose is an eccentric special needs character who’s obsessed with a movie star. I can’t describe how special this character is; he’s one of my favourite characters I’ve ever played. I loved working with Fred.”

The red capped director is up against some stiff competition in the Worst Director category this year, nominated alongside James Franco for Zeroville, Adrian Grünberg for Rambo: Last Blood, Neil Marshall for Hellboy and Tom Hooper for Cats.
The Fanatic has received two other nominations at the Razzies, with Travolta up for Worst Actor and the movie itself up for Worst Picture.
This year will be the first time the Razzies is broadcast on television.
