Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols to play Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust
The Pistols are coming to the Albert Hall for the first time ever as part of this spring's Teenage Cancer Trust fundraising shows...
On Friday night, billed as The SPOTS (if you know, you know), Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols played The 100 Club in central London…
Before they headline the Royal Albert Hall later today (March 24) for Teenage Cancer Trust, the Sex Pistols played an equally iconic venue in the capital on Friday night (March 21).
The Frank Carter-fronted punk legends – completed by original members Paul Cook, Glen Matlock and Steve Jones – headed to London’s 100 Club for a surprise gig to help kick off their busy 2025. Billed as The SPOTS, which is the name the original band sometimes had to use back in the day, standing for Sex Pistols Secretly On Tour, they unleashed Never Mind The Bollocks in full.
“How many of you were here the first time around?” Frank asked. “Put your hands together for the greatest punk band of all time.”
As well as 300 lucky fans, apparently the likes of Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Bobby Gillespie, Damon Hill and Gary Kemp were also in attendance, witnessing Frank and this iteration of the Pistols continue the fantastic vibes their 2024 comeback brought them. “From the bottom of my heart,” concluded Frank, “thank you very much for coming out – it’s a dream come true.”
