Live review: Beartooth, London Alexandra Palace
Ohio’s finest metalcore exports Beartooth step up to the plate at their biggest UK headline show to date.
Relive Beartooth's fiery performance at the Roundhouse in London with this exclusive gallery
This weekend, Beartooth headlined their largest-ever UK show at the iconic Roundhouse in London. The venue – famed for its past performances of Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones – was packed to the rafters, with bodies crammed into every available space, ready and waiting for the post-hardcore crew to turn up the heat.
Following a rowdy set from The Amity Affliction, Beartooth blasted onto the London stage with the ferocious singalong The Lines before swandiving into a 16-song setlist that spanned all three albums – with most attention paid to latest offering Disease. From Afterall and Bad Listener to Body Bag and Sick Of Me, the thousands in attendance barely let up singing all night, with every chorus swelling inside the Victorian building.
