Fall Out Boy have revealed their first two live shows of 2025
You’re up, Arizona and Mexico: Fall Out Boy will be heading over for a couple of festival appearances next year…
Director Todd Phillips has confirmed that the working title for the next Joker movie is Folie à Deux – which, of course, is the same name as Fall Out Boy’s misunderstood 2008 album…
Exciting news! Todd Phillips has confirmed that the Joker sequel is in the works – and it's the same name as Fall Out Boy's misunderstood fourth record, Folie à Deux.
Joker: Folie à Deux was announced by the director in an Instagram post on Tuesday evening, which teased a script written by Todd and Scott Silver, as well as lead actor Joaquin Phoenix having a smoke and reading it. Nothing else has been announced, but naturally Fall Out Boy began trending online soon after the reveal, as emos everywhere enjoyed the surprise crossover (hey, maybe Todd is actually a massive fan of pre-hiatus FOB). Given singer Patrick Stump's soundtrack work, can we make this a proper thing?!
Of course, Fall Out Boy listeners will know that the title Folie à Deux means a madness shared by two, and the implications are pretty interesting when it comes to the plot for the next Joker film…
Fall Out Boy return to the cover of the latest issue of Kerrang! alongside their Hella Mega Tour pals Green Day and Weezer – you can grab a copy in WHSmith and all of the best independent retailers, or you can order one online right here.
