Live review: Biffy Clyro, London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire
The band for the ages, Biffy Clyro, open the archives and dust off their early works during three-night stand in London town
Watch the Biffy Clyro / Slayer / Oceansize supergroup tear it up at their UK shows last last month...
Did you catch Empire State Bastard at their intimate debut tour last month? Killer, wasn't it? And not just because we can't remember the last time we saw members of Biffy Clyro (Simon Neil and Mike Vennart) and Slayer (Dave Lombardo) playing that close-up. The racket they've come up with is a brilliant noise, as unwieldy as it is heavy.
If you missed it, you missed out. But, fear not, they were good enough to film it, and they've presented it here as a video for the awesome Harvest. They're succinct in their thoughts on it all, simply saying "Bastards in the wild!" but the results speak for themselves.
And if you want some of that in the flesh, the band have a summer of festival gigs coming up. Catch them at the following dates.
