The big review: 2000trees festival 2024
These woods are lovely, dark and deep, full of bands that rock and tales to keep, so we went another weekend without much sleep to bring you all the highlights down at Upcote Farm for 2000trees…
One True Prince is about "finding comfort in the fact that whatever you’re going through and however bad it may feel, nothing lasts forever," says Don Broco frontman Rob Damiani.
Following their internet-trolling video for Gumshield in July, Don Broco are back with another new single, One True Prince – and it shows an altogether deeper and more serious side to the band.
Frontman Rob Damiani explains of the track: "One True Prince is about finding comfort in the fact that whatever you’re going through and however bad it may feel, nothing lasts forever.
"In these moments I try to remind myself how insignificant I am. Just one person amongst billions, on a rock orbiting a dying star, in a universe that will eventually implode on itself.

"And when my problems are put in perspective, it’s about celebrating that despite the little time we have in this world we are still capable of creating so much beauty and happiness. We’re about to do amazing things."
As that lovely little segue suggests, One True Prince is taken from Broco's upcoming album Amazing Things, due out on September 17 via Sharptone Records. Check it out below.
