Disney’s A Whole New Sound pop-punk covers album has officially arrived!

Following a couple of great previews (shoutout Magnolia Park’s version of I2I from 1995’s A Goofy Movie in particular), the full 12-track record is now here.

As well as previously-released covers by New Found Glory and Simple Plan, you can now hear LØLØ belt out Let It Go, Mayday Parade get their Coco on, Meet Me @ The Altar add their brilliant spin to You’ve Got A Friend In Me, Bowling For Soup channel their inner Genie for Friend Like Me and much more. Plus, there’s a new music video for Yellowcard and Chrissy Costanza’s cover of A Whole New World.

Disney’s director of brand marketing, Tim Pennoyer, enthuses of the whole thing: “A Whole New Sound is a love letter to the pop-punk fans which blends the energetic spirit of the genre with the timeless nostalgia of Disney classics.”
