Denzel Curry unfortunately had to miss out on Korn’s biggest UK headline show ever yesterday (Sunday, August 11) at Gunnersbury Park.

Taking to Instagram Stories before his planned support slot (which was due to follow Loathe, WARGASM and Spiritbox), the alt.rap star revealed that he’d lost his voice and didn’t want to “risk further injury to it or give a half-ass show”.

UK fans will still be able to catch Denzel at Reading & Leeds at the end of this month, however – and in fact he promised that he’ll “make it up to you” for those sets.

Read Denzel’s full statement: “To all my fans in London I apologize but I won’t be able to perform tonight due to losing my voice. I think everyone knows how crazy I go when performing but the back-to-back shows have taken a toll on me, I don’t want to risk further injury to it or give a half-ass show… I’ll make it up to you at Reading & Leeds… that much I do promise. Big Ultra”

Get well soon, Denzel!
