Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
Slipknot's Corey Taylor is confronted by his lookalike and can't handle it
At a recent Slipknot fan event, frontman Corey Taylor met what might be one of the biggest Maggots on the planet.
Shared by Facebook fan page Slipknot Worldwide, while greeting fans Corey meets one fan dressed head-to-toe in his .5: The Gray Chapter outfit. The mask, the boiler suit, the bulletproof vest thing – the lot! And how do you react when confronted with your twin from the past? You stick your head into a plastic bin, of course.
And that's exactly what The Great Big Mouth did, before getting not-Corey to sign his belly, joking "Now I can leave," before trying to make his exit.
Corey continues to fake-fanboy about meeting Slipknot, asking if they were "going to play fucking Snap today?" – the band's 2003 track for the Freddy Vs Jason movie, which according to SetlistFM has only been performed live three times ever.
Check out this excellent meeting below.
Earlier this week it was reported that Corey has married Alicia Dove. We're guessing his doppelgänger isn't engaged to a lookalike of the Cherry Bombs dancer, but you never know.
Slipknot are heading out on tour across the UK and Europe next year, in support of their new album We Are Not Your Kind. Get your tour tickets now.
