Slipknot reveal summer 2025 European tour
Slipknot will be taking over Europe’s rock and metal fests next June, as well as playing some headline dates of their own.
Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor will auction guitars from his personal collection to raise money for Direct Relief’s COVID-19 response effort.
Corey Taylor has announced a guitar auction to help raise money for Direct Relief, a non-profit organisation who are helping with the delivery of PPE and other essentials to healthcare workers on the frontlines battling the coronavirus pandemic.
The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman has put 13 guitars from his personal collection up on eBay – with a couple of super-limited Dave Grohl signatures, a number of beautiful acoustics, and a black SDGR bass among the instruments available to bid on. On top of that, eBay will be providing a matching donation of up to $1 million to Direct Relief's COVID-19 response effort.

"I'm raising funds to benefit Direct Relief's COVID-19 efforts by auctioning off 13 guitars I've used and signed," Corey says. "Each guitar comes with a case and certificate of authenticity. Click below the link in my bio or visit ebay.com/coreytaylor to view the auction and place your bids.
"Direct Relief a non-profit doing important work by delivering personal protective equipment and other essential items to healthcare workers fighting COVID-19."
The auction is live right here, and will run through to May 7 at 7pm EST / 4pm PST / midnight on May 8 BST.
This isn't the first time Corey has auctioned off his guitars, either, as he participated in Clutch frontman Neil Fallon's charity auction last year for the Innocent Lives Foundation, alongside My Chemical Romance's Frank Iero, Foo Fighters, Black Label Society and more.
