Clutch to play their 1995 second album in full on European tour
Celebrating 30 years of their self-titled second album, Clutch will be crossing the pond in just over a year’s time…
Drummer Jean-Paul Gaster calls Sunrise On Slaughter Beach “the most different record we’ve made in a long time…”
Clutch have announced details of their 13th album, Sunrise On Slaughter Beach.
Following the release of single – and album opener – Red Alert (Boss Metal Zone) in April, and We Strive For Excellence last month, the Maryland rockers have now confirmed that their new, nine-track record is arriving on September 16 via Weathermaker Music.
Says drummer Jean-Paul Gaster of the whole thing: “The more the songs took shape, the less I saw that kind of an album. Something different took shape. The record we ended up with is, in some ways, the most different record we’ve made in a long time.”
