Album review: Body Count – Merciless
Ice-T’s crew Body Count return to reassert their radical rap-metal prowess.
“It’s a true reflection of my journey as an artist,” says the Against The Current singer.
Following the release of singles 7 Minutes In Hell, If Looks Could Kill and I Tried To Act Your Age, Chrissy Costanza has now released her debut solo EP, VII.
The Against The Current singer says the new seven-tracker represents growth, and that it marks the beginning of a new era for her.
“VII is a true reflection of my journey as an artist and every track holds a piece of my evolution—both musically and personally," she says. "I wanted to push boundaries, experiment with new sounds, and give my fans something raw and real.
"It’s a new chapter for me that feels closer to my soul than ever before. Through these seven songs, I explored my love for fantasy and mythology, imagining myself as Icarus with wings of wax and feathers, hurtling towards the sun.”
VII tracklist:
1. But, What If I Fly?
2. 7 Minutes In Hell
3. Pick Your Poison
4. If Looks Could Kill
5. You’d Be Right
6. Some Like It Hot
7. I Tried To Act Your Age
