Jesse Cash from Sumerian Records progressive metalcore band ERRA occasionally does his own thing under the name Ghost Atlas. His debut full length under that name, All Is In Sync. And There's Nothing Left To Sing About, will be released 100% independently on November 17th. Cash invested his own money into the release of the album and he's said that the freedom of total independence is super gratifying. He's keen on actively protecting the integrity of the music and the general creative direction of the project.
He's given us a video for NightDrive, a track from the album, to premiere here! Check it out:
"NightDrive is meant to be a statement against vanity," says Jesse, "It’s about pursuing a dream for the wrong reasons, and never fully reaching your goals as a result. It’s inspired by a lot of the somewhat delusional personalities you find in a place like Los Angeles. It is absolutely not meant to deviate anyone from pursuing an unorthodox path or moving to a place to help further that. It’s just a cautionary tale to do so with plenty of self-awareness and humility.”
Consider yourself cautioned.
