Green Day, The Prodigy, Amyl And The Sniffers, Speed and more for Coachella 2025
Green Day, the original Misfits, Amyl And The Sniffers, GEL and more are coming to the California desert in 2025…
What a band. What. A. Bloody. Band.
With only a handful of shows left this year, Green Day are slowly but surely wrapping up their 2017 touring schedule.
But before they fly down to South America to finish the Revolution Radio tour, the punk rock titans hit New York's Global Citizen Festival on September 23 to play a breathtaking eight-song set, where frontman Billie Joe Armstrong called on fans to "shine your light for justice", and announced, "This ain't no political party, man – this is a celebration!"
The band joined the likes of Stevie Wonder, The Killers and The Chainsmokers in performing – as well as world leaders from Nigeria, France, Denmark, Ghana and more, who also appeared to try and 'solve the world's biggest challenges'.
The whole thing was streamed live, and you can see Green Day take Global Citizen by storm below. Their set begins at roughly three hours and 39 minutes, if you want to skip ahead…
Green Day's set list looked like this:
1. Know Your Enemy
2. Holiday
3. Boulevard of Broken Dreams
4. Basket Case
5. Minority
6. American Idiot
Encore:
7. Wake Me Up When September Ends
8. Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)
Awesome stuff.
