Watch Bring Me The Horizon's new video for in the dark, featuring Forest Whitaker
After teasing it yesterday, Bring Me The Horizon have released a brand new video for their track in the dark.
Taken from the band's latest album amo, released at the start of 2019, it stars actor Forest Whitaker – who you might know from Rogue One, Black Panther and The Last King Of Scotland.
Posting on Instagram yesterday, BMTH frontman Oli Sykes said: “I only just finished the edit and have no sense of anything anymore.
"A very special thanks to #ForestWhitaker for putting his trust in me & @brian_c0x for assisting me in pulling this off. The sound I make at the end of this video kinda sums it all up.”
Speaking to Kerrang! about in the dark, keyboardist Jordan Fish said it was one of the "more poppy" songs on the record. "It’s from the perspective of someone who’s found out their lover’s been cheating. It’s musically very different for us. We’re so proud of it. We wanted to make sure it was positioned quite early in the record so it wouldn’t get lost. And while it’s poppy, it’s still quite dark. We don’t worry about what people might think of that. It’s not a healthy mind-set to be in when you’re trying to write music."
In other Bring Me The Horizon news, they will be releasing a brand-new song on the soundtrack of video game Death Stranding this November, while they also recently teased a collaboration with Halsey.
