Following June’s comeback banger Teacher Has A Gun, Badflower have just unleashed another new single.

This month the band have shared the equally brilliant Detroit, which was actually written two years ago backstage at The Fillmore (three guesses which city that venue is in?!).

Speaking about its meaning, Josh Katz reveals, “I think anyone who has achieved something that they always thought they wanted has felt the disappointment in finally reaching that goal. It’s like, ‘I have it, now what do I do?’ And then you realise how fun it was chasing the thing you wanted – it was the journey that meant everything.

“Fans are so involved in those feelings. That’s the thing I was chasing for so long, to be loved by a lot of people. And for those people to be involved in this song – it’s just another layer of Badflower being honest with you.”
