Mega new pop-punk collab alert! As It Is have re-released Can’t Save Myself with NOAHFINNCE.
They both call the Never Happy, Ever After X recording a “full-circle” thing, with Noah having grown up covering As It Is and going to their shows.
“Teenage me seeing As It Is at a teeny venue would have never believed that in a few years I’d be asked to guest on their album,” he enthuses, “let alone being allowed to collab on my favourite song of theirs. I love those guys and have had so much fun working on this.”
The band themselves say: “Can’t Save Myself was the song that found us the attention of a manager and a record label, the first song of ours that really connected and meant people came to our shows.
“When we were getting into alternative music in the early 2000s we discovered bands on music video TV channels and that is exactly how Noah discovered As It Is. To have had an impact on anyone or an album that still resonates with people 10 years later is still mad to us. Noah came to our shows and covered us on YouTube and to see him, inspired by our era of pop-punk, now out there inspiring a new generation is a wonderful full-circle moment that we wanted to immortalise on this new version of Can’t Save Myself.”
