Bring Me The Horizon celebrate one billion streams in the UK
Congratulations to Bring Me The Horizon, who’ve received a BRIT Billion Award for really racking up their streaming numbers in the UK!
Bring Me The Horizon are up to something – and it looks like new music might be on the way…
Update: As Oli Sykes says in this brand-new video, "Watch this space…"
Original story: It's no secret that Bring Me The Horizon have been busy in the studio lately cooking up new material, posting some highly entertaining and insightful clips that show how they're getting along with the follow-up to last year’s surprise Music to listen to… EP.
Now, though, the Sheffield titans could well be on the verge of unleashing some of this material, posting – in typical Horizon fashion – a cryptic video and caption to social media, leading fans to believe that a new single is on the way.

Based on the band's studio updates back in March, this video could be pointing to a new song that had the working title Parasite Eve, though a longer look at the new teaser does show that frontman Oli Sykes had been watching an Athlean home workout video before calling his bandmates… might that mean something? Probably not, but with Horizon you just never know.

Last year, Oli explained that Horizon's 2019 Death Stranding song Ludens "will be the first song you hear from the new record".
“We’re not going to do an album again, maybe ever," he said. "We’re thinking about doing shorter records. I don’t want to say we’re going to do something and not live up to it, but the plan is to release multiple records [in 2020].”
When asked if fans will start seeing a “more regular flow of music from Bring Me The Horizon”, Oli responded: “There’s all this shit you need to think about and how it’s going to sit on a 15 track album. I don’t want to do that. When we wrote Ludens, it was crazy but it was fun. We just had to write one song and it just had to serve the video game. We didn’t have to write the biggest song in the world. I just love to sit and go, ‘Let’s just write a song and not worry about how it needs to be.’”
