Album review: Andrew W.K. – God Is Partying
The ultimate party king Andrew W.K. takes a trip to the heart of darkness…
It will be the Party God's first new record in over a decade!
The king of all things party is set to release a brand-new album – his first in over a decade! While the artwork or title for the album hasn't been revealed just yet, it has been confirmed that the LP will drop on March 2, 2018 through Sony Music.
However, Andrew W.K. seems to be suggesting that it will sound more along the lines of his 2001 album, I Get Wet. Talking about the upcoming release he says: "I'm going for the sound of pure, unadulterated feeling, every emotion, every thought, every experience, every sensation, all extruded into one life-force syrup, and psychically amplified by the celebratory spirit of glorious music."
After releasing the EDM inspired single, Party 'Til We Die, last year, this will be his first full-length rock album since 2006's Close Calls With Brick Walls.
Get in the party spirit by listening to his anthem, Party Hard, because everyone needs to make their day instantly better.
In other news, Andrew W.K.'s scheduled November tour dates have now been moved to April. All original tickets will still remains valid, but if you can no longer make, then you're advised to contact your point of purchase.
