Hear Ethel Cain’s new American Football cover: “Their sonic storytelling has inspired me in more ways I can count”
Ethel Cain has covered American Football’s For Sure, as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations for the band’s 1999 album.
Outbreak Fest have just announced that American Football will be closing out this year’s event with a headline set celebrating 25 years of their self-titled debut album!
It’s been two weeks since Outbreak added Friday night headliner Action Bronson, and now the festival have just announced who will be closing the whole thing on the Sunday (June 30).
American Football have been added to the Outbreak Fest line-up, and not only will they be headlining – alongside the aforementioned Action Bronson, and Basement on the Saturday night – but they’ll also be playing their classic self-titled debut album in full, to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Of course, there’s a few other milestone sets happening at Outbreak in June: Joyce Manor, NOTHING and The Hotelier will all be honouring 10 years of their albums Never Hungover Again, Guilty Of Everything and Home, Like Noplace Is There respectively, while Thursday will be playing War All The Time and Full Collapse sets. Elsewhere, you can catch everyone from Angel Du$t to Fiddlehead to Mannequin Pussy and Poison The Well.
