AC/DC will return to the United States and Canada next April and May for a full stadium tour...
AC/DC have posted a cryptic teaser on social media – are they coming back?
AC/DC's return has been the source of speculation for years. There have been reported sightings of the hard rock legends in various studios, Twisted Sister's Dee Snider has regularly been talking about the greatness of their the next 'DC record, and recently a series of photos leaked showing the band reunited with Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd.
As the old saying goes, there's no smoke without fire, and in this case there's also some electricity in the air.
This afternoon (1pm UK time), AC/DC posted the teaser clip below, showing their signature lightning bolt logo flickering into life. No further details were included, but it's a pretty good indication that things are slowly stirring in AC/DC's camp again.
Earlier this month, photos of AC/DC (Angus and Stevie Young, Cliff Williams, Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd)were seemingly posted on their official website, before quickly being taken down. However, the pics (which look like they were taken during an official video shoot) were screengrabbed by an eagle-eyed Brazilian fansite, and subsequently shared online for all to see.
Rumours suggest this footage was recorded earlier this year. Canadian rock radio host Mitch Lafon shared the images on Twitter, saying there were "strong rumours" a new album would arrive in November.
Does this teaser confirm those rumours? Stay tuned to Kerrang! for the latest updates.
