Zeal & Ardor release new single, to my ilk, from upcoming fourth album

Listen to Zeal & Ardor’s brand-new single to my ilk – which has “another level of emotion” according to Manuel Gagneux.

Zeal & Ardor have just unveiled a beautiful new single, to my ilk.

The track is taken from the group’s upcoming fourth album GREIF – the name of which refers to a mythical hybrid creature. Indeed, mainman Manuel Gagneux reveals that GREIF is “a lion, a snake, and a bird. During the parade, he turns his backside to the aristocrats and sticks it to the man. It reflects where we are.”

Of the musical content of GREIF, meanwhile, he shares: “I wanted to expand upon what we had and introduce new colours. There are angry and accusatory moments, but there’s also some solace and happiness. I’m widening the palette of colours we have to paint with. These are avenues we haven’t tried.”

Get a taste of GREIF with new single to my ilk below, which Manuel enthuses “has another level of emotion”, and also “came out just the way I imagined”.
