YUNGBLUD Postpones UK Tour Due To Coronavirus

YUNGBLUD's May and June UK tour is off, but "there is a plan in place" for alternative dates.

YUNGBLUD has announced that his upcoming UK tour has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Though he hasn't yet confirmed any rescheduled dates, he says that "they will be happening" at some point. The tour was scheduled to kick off in Glasgow on May 22, and was set to feature a whopping five headline shows at London's O2 Kentish Town Forum.

“The UK tour is being moved,” he announces in a statement. “I’ve tried my best to try come up with an innovative way of keepin’ them on but everyone’s safety is most important. I’m sorry. There is a plan in place though, they will be happenin’. Hold on to your tix and imma post more info soon!”

In a video explaining the understandable decision, YUNGBLUD says, "Due to the current climate of the world, the Occupy The UK Tour is going to have to be moved. That includes the five Kentish Town shows, the Glasgow shows, and the Nottingham shows. I was working really hard with my team to try and figure out an innovative way of doing these on the dates, but obviously it's just not gonna be possible, and I want the shows to just be a typical, normal, mental Yungblud show, you know what I mean? I don't wanna compromise.

"But there is a higher plan in place, so hold on to your tickets. I promise I have a plan, I promise there will be more information about it soon. I love ya, and I can't wait to get back to ya and rage. I just know after all of this is over it's just going to be pandemonium and madness, and I can't wait for it!"
