YUNGBLUD, Nothing But Thieves And More Announce Tiny Shows

BRITs Week Together With O2 For War Child 2020 is back – and will see YUNGBLUD, Nothing But Thieves and more perform intimate venues for charity.

As the UK music scene braces for next month's annual BRIT Awards, a whole bunch of super-intimate shows have been announced for BRITs Week Together With O2 For War Child 2020.

As well as the likes of Bastille, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Bombay Bicycle Club and Louis Tomlinson playing tiny gigs, on the Kerrang! side of things YUNGBLUD and Nothing But Thieves have also announced their participation in the charity event.

Alternative star YUNGBLUD will be performing on February 10 at London's Camden Assembly, while Nothing But Thieves will hit the Dome on February 21. The prize draw is open now to win tickets (see more on that at Britsweekwarchild.co.uk), while O2 customers can get priority tickets from this Wednesday, January 15, at 9am. General sale is available from Friday, January 17.

“We’re over the moon to announce BRITs Week together with O2 for 2020," says Rich Clarke, Head of Music at War Child. "It’s an amazing series with the strongest line up yet. We’re so grateful for the support from the music industry – artists, managers, agents, labels as well as our incredible partners O2, the BPI and AEG to deliver these unique shows and create moments that will stay with the fans forever. This is our flagship fundraising series of live shows and the funds raised will change the lives of hundreds of thousands of the world’s most vulnerable children.”

Indeed, while the events themselves are super-exciting for music fans, most importantly they help raise money for children whose lives have been destroyed by war. Last year alone, War Child UK raised an estimated £502,000 through BRITs Week. Fingers crossed that total will be topped in 2020.
