YUNGBLUD Drops Acting Like That Featuring Machine Gun Kelly
Listen to Acting Like That, the latest collaboration between YUNGBLUD, Machine Gun Kelly and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
After teasing the track earlier this week, Machine Gun Kelly, YUNGBLUD and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker have launched their latest collaboration, Acting Like That.
The single follows 2019's I Think I’m OKAY and this year’s Body Bag (which also features The Used’s Bert McCracken), and it looks like YUNGBLUD in particular is pretty excited about this one…

Acting Like That arrives ahead of the release of his new record Weird!, which he teased to Kerrang! is “a neat whisky, uncensored version of my life: it talks about liberation in terms of sex, my identity and my mental health, as well as love, heartbreak, self-harm, suicide, depression… it’s like a series of Skins. I want it to be naïve and full of contradictions. This record doesn’t give a fuck what people think about it, because it’s telling the listener what life is truly about. I have a dialogue with my fanbase that allows us to say what we think – we’re rebelling against the idea that speaking our minds is wrong.”
Collaborator Machine Gun Kelly, meanwhile, hopes to release the follow-up to Tickets To My Downfall next year, announcing his goals as: “Definitely directing a movie, releasing another album, performing Tickets To My Downfall live – that’s necessary. And being a good human, those are all my 2021 top of the list.”
