Your Demise Have Reunited For A 10-Year Anniversary The Kids We Used To Be Tour
St Albans hardcore punks Your Demise are celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Kids We Used To Be with a 2020 tour.
As well as announcing that they'll be joining next year's epic Slam Dunk bill, Your Demise have announced that they'll be reuniting for a short anniversary tour.
The St Albans hardcore punks – who've been pretty much inactive since their split in 2014, save for a one-off benefit gig for The Ghost Inside in 2015 – will be celebrating 10 years of their brilliant breakthrough record The Kids We Used To Be across eight dates in April and May, though their intentions as a band after that currently remain unclear.
Announcing the gigs on social media, Your Demise say in a statement: "To be honest, we never could’ve imagined the impact The Kids We Used To Be would have on us as a band. It allowed us the opportunity to tour full time and travel the world – something every band dreams of. Our heroes became our mates, those that liked out music became genuine friends and as individuals we grew together. That being said, we got together knowing that the 10 year anniversary was coming and frankly couldn’t come up with a reason to not celebrate this album, so here we are. Fuck it, why not."
