YONAKA Have Covered Taylor Swift's You Need To Calm Down
Brighton four-piece YONAKA take on Taylor Swift's recent single You Need To Calm Down as part of the Spotify Singles series.
The Spotify Singles series has been an absolutely brilliant way to hear your favourite bands taking on some bold and brilliant covers – from Bring Me The Horizon's take on ANOHNI’s Drone Bomb Me, Muse doing Duran Duran hit Hungry Like The Wolf, and Architects smashing Deftones’ Change (In The House Of Flies).
Now, Brighton four-piece YONAKA have stepped up to the plate and covered Taylor Swift's recent single You Need To Calm Down (as well as also releasing a stripped down version of Rockstar, from their debut album Don’t Wait ’Til Tomorrow). And it would seem that Tay Sway – who worked with Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie earlier in the year on ME! – digs the band's efforts, posting on her Instagram Stories: "Absolutely love this!!"
