When We Were Wolves are back with their first new music in seven years.
The Welsh metalcore crew – who have returned with a new line-up, too – have unleashed Hate Yourself, which vocalist Mitch Bock explains is about “my mental health struggles and how important the support of other people around me has been”.
Mitch continues: “Being open when you’re struggling is key, I think, which is where the lyric, ‘And I’ll always show that I’m struggling.’ Telling someone you’re going through a bad time seems to have such a negative stigma around it when in reality it’s a very positive thing.”
