Weezer have their own Blue Album-themed Brat wall in Brooklyn

The Brat wall may be no more, so Weezer have unveiled their own Blue Album-themed wall in New York.

Weezer have been going big on their 30th anniversary celebrations for The Blue Album this year – including, most recently, taking inspiration from a certain Charli XCX…

As well as heading off on a massive tour in honour of their 1994 debut record in the coming months, the geek rock heroes have now also just revealed that they’ve decided to follow in the footsteps of the most iconic wall of 2024: the Brat wall.

While the pop titan’s massive promo campaign in Greenpoint for her latest album is sadly no more, Weezer have now erected a spot in Brooklyn (at 283 4th Ave) to do their own take on it, and celebrate a much older record.

They’ve shared a look at the wall – which features a silhouette of the album cover – on Instagram with a video that says, “Blue wall is the new Brat wall.”
