Waterparks Announce Huge UK/European Headline Tour And New Concert Film
Waterparks' See You In The Future Tour will see the Texan trio play their biggest-ever UK shows…
Huge news from the Waterparks camp: the Texan trio have just announced their biggest-ever UK and European tour, as well as the release their first-ever concert film: FANDOM: Live In The UK.
Awsten Knight and co. are set to cross the pond in the summer next year for the See You In The Future Tour, tackling venues in Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham and London, as well as Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Warsaw, Munich and Cologne in Europe straight after the UK jaunt.
"At the end of 2019 and top of 2020 we were playing shows on the FANDOM Tour that were by far the biggest we’d done yet," says Awsten. "Getting to conceptualise and build up production ourselves made it feel more huge and personal than any tour to date. However, during this time, we’ve had the opportunity to sit with show ideas and build out the concerts in ways we’d never even imagined before so I’m ready to start making all of that come to life.
"Also to be real, I’m really so fucking tired of not playing shows. So come through! Stay safe, wear a mask, wash your hands, and we’ll see you in the future."

Before Waterparks make their live return, however, the band will give fans something else to look forward to: their first proper concert film and live album, FANDOM: Live In The UK.
"I’ve always wanted Waterparks to have a live concert DVD because I used to love watching them from other bands so much," Awsten says. "The thing is, I wanted to approach it differently and try to make it into more of an art piece rather than strictly documentation of a night. As a co-director [along with Jawn Rocha], I wanted it to be like an IMAX Waterparks show but in an alternate universe and so every song is warped out and stylised to look how it feels to me while we’re performing. It took us six months of editing daily to create what we consider an innovative/abstract experience while still remaining cohesive and thoughtful. Order a physical copy when they drop because I designed the inside/outside of the packaging and it looks so tight, bless you and stay safe."
FANDOM: Live In The UK is due out on November 27 via Hopeless Records. Pre-order it here, and watch the live video for Turbulent below.
